You’re welcoming a new baby soon and it’s such a special and exciting time! There is so much planning that goes along with welcoming a baby, and I’d like to help take some of the stress away by helping you document and preserve such a special moment. Finding the right photographer that will fit your family’s needs and style is very important! As your Humble newborn photographer, I take the utmost care of your little one and am excited to work with you one-on-one to deliver the portraits you’ll cherish forever.
I offer a seamless and easy process from booking, to consultation, session planning and ordering. We’ll work together to create the session of your dreams and create a customized collection that best fits you and your family’s style. Reach out before baby arrives to secure your session fee, this guarantees my availability for your baby. I take on a limited amount of clients per month to ensure the best, customized experience. Newborn sessions are done M-F only in studio with babies under 2-3 weeks old.

How it Works

STEP 1: Let’s Book!
While still pregnant, secure your spot on my calendar with your session fee. Use your due date to book directly on my booking site or reach out with any questions. After baby arrives, we set a final session date/time and will have a consultation call.

STEP 2: Session Day
Before baby is 3 weeks old, you’ll arrive at my studio where everything will be ready for you & baby. Sit back & relax while I guide your baby & your family with poses. At this time, you’ll also have a chance to see and feel product samples for ordering.

STEP 3: Gallery Reveal & Ordering
Online proofing galleries are ready 1-2 weeks after your session. Here you’ll choose the flexible collection you’d like to purchase (this is separate from your session fee) Flexible collections start at $450 and can be further customized.

STEP 4: Final Delivery
The best part! Your photos are ready! Yay! Your products are checked for quality control and then we arrange for pickup or delivery. Trust me - you WON’T regret investing in beautiful and custom heirloom products for your family! A great way to invest in your session.

SESSION FEE + COLLECTION = TOTAL
Session fees are separate from your collection and do not include any digital images or products. Session fees cover your session time, access to client closet and styling. Your collection is chosen after you see your images in your proofing gallery. Prices are subject to change. Taxes are additional.
What is included:
Consultation call after booking to discuss your family’s style and color preferences.
Access to client closet for baby, sibling(s) and comfortable dresses for momma!
A session prep guide to prepare you and your family on what to expect and how to prepare baby for their session.
Full sessions are 3-4 hours long to give enough time for breaks, feedings and changes. All pose variations are included (naked, swaddled, in props) as well as family photos with each parent, sibling(s), and entire family.
Mini sessions are 1-1.5 hours long and include just baby in swaddled-only poses.
Gallery viewing from the comfort of your home with flexible collections to customize your order.
Design services to build your family wall art, albums, birth announcements and more.
Newborn sessions are reserved ahead of time, while still pregnant, to ensure your spot on my calendar. Only 8 newborns are accepted each month to give flexibility for each baby’s arrival. Newborn sessions are typically done in the first 21 days of life. Reach out today for more information.

Reach out while still pregnant and we’ll pencil you in with your due date. After baby arrives, you let me know asap and we get you a final session date/time before baby turns 3 weeks old.

Newborn sessions are typically done when baby is 7-21 days old. This is when newborns tend to sleep deeper allowing for the cute curled up poses. Though older babies can still be photographed, they might be swaddled for the majority of the time if they don’t permit for the same curled up and sleepy poses. Preemie babies are little different and allow a little more flexibility in the timeline.

I will have everything ready for baby including wraps, headbands, bonnets, tiny teddies and newborn outfits that are custom tailored for newborn photography. Outside outfits are not allowed during the session.
If you have a special item you’d like to include like a family heirloom or sentimental item, I’d be happy to incorporate it. Just let me know ahead of time to coordinate styling before your session.

Your session is completely customized to your preferences, so I’ll have everything ready for baby! Before your session, I’ll send over a session prep guide to help you in how best to pack and prepare baby for their session. Extra milk and a pacifier is always recommended.

Of course! All of my full newborn sessions include family photos. We’ll do several variations of your family, each parent with baby, and baby with any siblings. Before your session we will discuss coordinating outfits for family so that everyone looks their best! Mini sessions are for baby only.

Your $250 newborn session fee serves as a deposit to hold your place in my calendar. It also includes the session consultation, session prep, and session time. Access to all my newborn props, wraps, headbands and wardrobe are also included. Digitals and products are sold separately at ordering.

You start with booking with your session fee. This is either $250 (full session) or $100 (mini sessions). The session fee does not include digitals or products and is not applied towards your collection. Your total investment will vary based on the collection you choose at ordering. You are free to purchase just digitals starting at $450, or bundle products like albums or wall art for the best deal. See flexible collections here.

I have three flexible collections to choose from. You can view them here. You can decide to do just digitals, or if you fall in love with many more photos, you might consider jumping up to the next package to include an album and/or wall art. You can always switch out finishes in the collections.

Congrats! Pricing is the same for multiples. We will do a few shots with each baby individually along with together. Timing may take a little longer, but we always make sure to be safe and get some precious photos!
